RSD campuses will be closed until further notice for in-person learning. We will continue remote/virtual learning, and will exercise flexibility when assignments are to be completed. Please stay safe, RSD families!

Monday, 2-15-21, will be a remote learning day. Since we seldom get snow, we are extending due dates for remote assignments to allow time to play in the snow. Please follow our district messages for more information regarding remote learning during this week of wintry weather. Please reach out to teachers via Google Classroom or email should you need assistance with assignments. Stay safe and warm!
Due to the possibility of inclement weather conditions, RSD will pivot to remote learning on Thursday, Feb. 11th. All students will submit their work from home. Stay warm, Fifth Grade!

February is CHOOSE LOVE Month at RIS. Each week, we will focus on one of the four tenets of the Choose Love Movement: Courage, Gratitude, Forgiveness, and Compassion. This week, we invite our students to wear red on Wednesday as we focus on Courage.

Congratulations to those employees recognized at last night's board meeting as RSD's January Employee's of the month!
The Russellville Board of Education will conduct a regular board meeting tonight, January 19, 2021, which will be live streamed and viewed on YouTube. There will be no committee meetings other than the Finance Committee which will begin at 6:45 p.m.

As we prepare for the weekend ahead, please remember that Fridays are virtual. Students may learn on-site or offsite each Friday. There will be no school on Monday due to the MLK holiday. Classes will resume on-site on Tuesday, January 19th. Have a safe and healthy weekend!
Changes made following Governor's address on Tuesday, December 12, 2021:
The first groups in Phase 1-B will be eligible to get the vaccine beginning on Jan. 18. These groups are Arkansans 70 or older and education workers including K-12, child care and higher ed. RIS will continue to offer virtual Fridays to our students every week. Students may access and submit work from home each Friday. Students are expected to do all assignments whether they are on-site or learning from home. Students may reach out to teachers via email or Google Classroom for assistance.
